我做了一盏与柏林实时天气同步的灯。因为距离和签证，我与住在柏林的女朋友大多只能通过视频分享生活，天气预报也成了我了解她每天所处环境的少数方式。装置会调用柏林的实时风速和气温数据，把风速转成光颜色的变化,再把温度转化成光的亮度；灯亮起时，柏林此刻的空气会以光的方式进入我的房间。
I created a lamp that responds to Berlin’s weather in real time. Because of distance and visa restrictions, my girlfriend, who lives in Berlin, and I could mostly only share our daily lives through video calls. Checking the weather forecast became one of the few ways I could understand the environment she experienced every day.
The installation uses real-time wind speed and temperature data from Berlin, translating wind speed into changes in light colour and temperature into brightness. When the lamp lights up, the air in Berlin at that very moment enters my room in the form of light.
